Keep your house clean, protect your health, and increase your value to the world. You want to have a great life. Those are the three things. I’m not just talking about cleaning up, making your bed, doing your dishes, and that type of thing. Keep your mindset clean. Focus on that. Everything opens wide up. This is important and it comes straight from Earl Nightingale. I truly believe this wholeheartedly, “You are at this moment the sum total of all your thoughts up to this point in your life.”

The brain controls it all, but the interesting thing is we have something called genetic inheritance. What that means is you have got this beautiful brain here. You have got this chance and opportunity. You’re 1 in 400 trillion. That is the odds that you are a human being that you are alive. Conservatively, 1 in 400 trillion that you are alive, that’s your brain, but here’s your genetic inheritance. Here are your parents’ thoughts on wealth, work, value, and what they consider to be the key to life. It’s all boiled in there as you’re growing up, as you’re going through, and as your environment is surrounding you.

You have the ability to make your own choices but then you have got this genetic inheritance that’s playing a part. Here are your parents but not only your parents, parents’ parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. It goes all the way down the line. It’s all of their experience, all of the environment that they have made, created, been around, and been in, and the circumstances. The genetic inheritance and your free will are battling and trying to figure out who you are. Who do I want to be?

Remove Negative Thoughts: You have the ability to share your beautiful brain with your kids, with the people around you, with your family, with your friends, with your business, with the people who work with you.


The exciting thing is we do have the ability to make choices, take action, set goals, and go after them. I say on the show time, and time again, we have different brains than your aunt, uncle, grandparents, and all these things. It’s all these people that would love to live a comfortable and secure life, do the 9:00 to 5:00 thing, have careers, and stay in that rat race. I’m not saying that they do, but a lot of people do, even in my own family. That’s where it’s at. That is their experience and life that they put together.

You have the ability to share your beautiful brain with your kids, the people around you, your family, your friends, your business, and the people that work with you. How exciting is that? You got to share that energizing enthusiasm. You got to look at it and understand that every single day, you have the ability to make the choice to go and provide value to the marketplace and your community. How are you going to do that? You pick up the phone, interact, learn how to communicate more effectively, proactively find people that are in a distressed situation, and try to solve their problem.

Every day, we have the opportunity to do that. What stops us? It’s some of this genetic inheritance. It’s some of this, “You can’t do it.” Maybe you tried something in the past. It didn’t work out, and people are like, “Stay in your lane.” You have got that beautiful brain and the ability to make these choices for a reason. Break out of it. Take that opportunity every single day to take some action. Even if it starts a little bit of a sprinkle, in the beginning, to build up that momentum to where all of a sudden, you are fully focused and able to commit yourself to your real estate business and be a real estate entrepreneur.

You are, at this moment, the sum total of all your thoughts up to this point in your life.

We get to do this, and this business has changed more lives from different backgrounds than anything that I have ever seen. It’s different environments, cities, states, financial situations or whatever it is. Anybody can pick up the phone, be proactive, find a distressed property owner, have a good quality conversation with them, and start changing not only their lives but your life as well. Once you change that mindset and believe that you can do massive deals and that your value is worth millions of dollars to the community and marketplace, that’s when things start going. Let’s all commit to upgrading the mindset and thinking bigger.

Before the show, I went and drove around Biltmore Circle. Biltmore Circle is like the Beverly Hills of Phoenix, Arizona. It’s these giant mansions and estates. It’s wonderful looking at these things and you’re like, “What a great place to live. What a great neighborhood and area.” It’s upgrading the mindset and thinking bigger. We’re getting into the fourth quarter here. Who is going to play hard in the fourth quarter? This is where entrepreneurs are made.

When all of the distractions of Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, holidays, vacations, and all these things, this is where the real pros play. In the fourth quarter, this is when you win the game for the year. Commit to what you can do now to take some action.
